The bucolic charm of an ancestral estate
Set on the sides of the early foothills of the Maures Mountains, Maravenne vineyard is one of the oldest estates in the region.
Its classified organically grown vintages are testimony to the estate’s celebrated winemaking skill, and are available to taste in the rural and Provençal setting of its wine cellar.
A living museum of automated winemakers
Seven years of work and the only museum of its kind in France
The museum, located in the middle of the vineyard, has 50 automated characters and animals displayed in 10 faithfully reconstructed scenes providing an hour long journey into the life of a winemaking family during the 1920s.
With the aid of an audio soundtrack recorded using actors, the automated models bring to life and recount the history and daily routine of winemaking.
