In November 2011, Amina Lesigne who trained under chef Moha in Marrakech and Rabat opened her own restaurant nestled under the arcades of place Garibaldi in Nice, serving up Moroccan specialities. The charming vaulted dining hall emphasises the refined Moorish decor that includes leather sofas, benches festooned with attractively coloured cushions. unique artisan objects, exotic 19th century wooden doors, leather cut lampshades and soft lighting, all contributing to the room’s elegant yet cosy atmosphere. This table serves colourful, traditional and delicately spiced dishes, such as tagines, couscous and pastillas. It also boasts a Kemia Lounge where pre-dinner cocktails and Kemia platters are served. From 5pm onwards, the lounge is also used to serve mint teas and delicious Moroccan pastries.
