DESCRIPTION

Colmiane is a winter sports resort and a green altitude resort which belongs to the municipality of Valdeblore. This family resort was founded in 1960 and was completely renovated in 1989.

In winter, the Colmiane is a pleasant 1450-meter-high ski resort in the Alpes d'Azur. It has 21 slopes between 1450 and 1800 meters high : 2 black, 9 red, 4 green, 6 blue, 6 lifts and a chairlift. It is a winter sports resort ideal for family skiing.

The resort also has snowmaking infrastructure on 15 acres , a 15 km cross-country ski track , a kindergarten equipped with mini-lifts and conveyor belt. The layout is important for surfers and snowshoeing and cross-country skiing kikes are organized.

In summer, nature activities take over. At The Colmiane, it is possible to hike in the Mercantour National Park thanks to the many trails that take their departure around the resort. It is also possible to enjoy aviation activities and water sports.

The lifts operate to allow you access to the top of the mountain. You will be able to practice mountain biking, summer sledging or walking.

ACCESS

There are 2 ways to reach La Colmiane from Nice :

-Through the valley of the Vésubie : go up the valley of the Var on the D6202. At the roundabout following Plan du Var, take the first exit towards the Vésubie. Follow the D2565 until you reach La Colmiane.

- Through the valley of the Tinée: go up the valley of the Var on the D6202 until the junction of Mescla, then take a right towards the Tinée on the D2205. After Bancairon and Bollinette, turn right onto the D2565 towards Valdeblore-La Colmiane. Follow this road to the resort.
