Beauty of the coast and mild climate : the Riviera is among the most famous seaside resorts in the world. The Riviera coast shows all the faces of the Mediterranean: coves, creeks shaded, wide bays, sandy or pebble beaches.

From Menton to Theoule-sur-Mer in the Alpes Maritimes and from Agay to Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer in the Var, the diversity of the Riviera coast beaches is endless.

With the aim of welcome everyone, 14 beaches in the Alpes Maritimes and many beaches in the Var acquired the Label Handiplage.

Like the whole region, the marinas on the Riviera are both typical and varied. On the Riviera, from one side to the other, each port has what it takes to attract boaters from around the world.

Between sea and nature, the trails of the Alpes-Maritimes capes and the trails of the Var coastline induce to authentic walks above the waves.

Water trails have been created throughout the Riviera. They are great fun way to discover the beautiful marine and coastal species that live there.

On the Riviera you may have the chance to visit 2 islands in the Alpes-Maritimes and 5 islands in the Var. Their peacefulness, authenticity and unspoiled nature will delight every visitor.
