In front of Cannes, the islands of Lerins are an archipelago of the Mediterranean Sea grouping the following islands : Sainte Marguerite, Tradelière Islands, Saint Honorat and Saint Ferréol. They are famous to have been the prison of the mysterious Iron mask who inspired numerous novels and films. Formerly called Marat and Peletier islands ( two martyrs), these islands present an idyllic, almost utopian setting, where the nature takes on its most beautiful splendor. The excursion promises mysteries, discoveries and beauties of the landscapes. Maritime shuttles can be found in the harbour of Cannes to make the tour of islands.
