Subway (U-Bahn): stations are indicated by a white “U” on blue background, the metro runs from 4am to 1 am, some lines run all night and on weekends.
Train (S-Bahn): stations are marked with a white «S» on green background.
Tramway: focused on the eastern part of the city, it is one of the oldest networks in the world.
Bus: they run from 4:30 AM to 1AM, some lines run all night.
Cycling: 3.72 miles (6000 km) of bike paths, available to two-wheeled ecological walks, are very popular with Berliners. Many retailers offer bike rental and «carts» specially designed to pick up children.
