Dedicated to the memory of immigrants who landed there, the buildings of the island have been transformed into a museum. You can discover the Great Hall of arrival, objects from the time, a film and the famous American Immigrant Wall of Honor with over 600,000 names of immigrants engraved.
FIRE MUSEUM
Opened in 1987 in a former barracks, it retraces the history of New York firefighters and has many objects on display, some of which related to the attacks of September 11, 2001.

EMPIRE STATE BUILDING

THE HIGHLINE
From Gansevoort Street to 34th (between 10th and 11th Avenues), the suspended urban park, inaugurated in 2009, covers the site of the old railway track leading to the Meatpacking District warehouses. This industrial zone located at the end of the West Village has become a trendy area. You can walk every day from 7am to 22pm through green spaces and flowers of the Highline overlooking the Hudson River.
