It happened one 21 January

1911 : First Rally Monte Carlo On January 21, 1911, held the first Rally Monte Carlo which was established at the beginning to attract the jet set of Europe. Today it is a major sporting event.
1968 : Beginning of the Battle of Khe Sanh On January 21, 1968, Vietnam People's Army attacked the American base at Khe Sanh near the Laotian border in South Vietnam. The battle lasted 77 days.
1976 : First Concordes On January 21, 1976, the first commercial flights of Concorde took off : one from London to Bahrain, the other from Paris to Rio de Janeiro.
