Brigitte L
Brigitte L. Créations: a pop-up stall full of unique retro jewellery
Brigitte L, retro jewellery designer, can be found in the market at Cour Saleya in Nice. Her designs are unique, retro-styled and yet very now.
Inspired by the Roaring Twenties, Brigitte makes her jewellery out of mother-of-pearl, velvet ties and other beautiful found and sourced materials. Her pieces recall Alice in Wonderland, the Countess of Ségur and 1920s Paris, and reveal a penchant for cabaret dancers and women in sepia photos modelling necklaces, watches, broaches and pendants.
Brigitte’s jewellery creations hang like drops of remembrances from pretty chains around the neck, loaded with symbolism and allegories.
Brigitte also makes jewellery to measure or to order, working from personal photographs, messages, wedding rings, good-luck charms, and so on.
Pop-up boutique:
- Cours Saleya from mid-May to mid-September, every evening except Mondays between 18.00 and 00.30
- Place du Palais de Justice every second Saturday of each month from 9.00 to 17.00
