BAIE DES ANGES MARINA


Guided tour of a renowned architectural site

The famous four giant pyramids of the Baie des Anges Marina, rising 70m above sea level like huge white waves, contain 1500 homes. The architectural ensemble has been recognised by the French ministry of culture for its place in France’s 20th century built heritage. The Tourism Office provides guided tours of this 16 hectare site, its port and gardens where you can learn about the genesis of the project and the various ups and downs of its 25 year construction.



AUGUSTE ESCOFFIER FOUNDATION


Museum of the Culinary Arts dedicated to a renowned chef and son of the village

The birth home of the “King of Chefs and Chef of Kings” now houses the Escoffier Museum of the Culinary Arts. The museum has 300m2 and 8 rooms dedicated to the illustrious French chef, Auguste Escoffier, who was chef to Marshall Mac Mahon and inventor of the Peach Melba. The museum’s collections include personal souvenirs, old documents, period objects and utensils, and a collection of menus that retrace Escoffier’s carrier and the history of gastronomy throughout the ages.

FUN TRAILS IN THE RIVES DU LOUP PARK


ABRACADABRIX, a game of clues and puzzles for all the family

Your mission: remake Abracadabrix’s magic potion. Thus, children who accept this mission are sent on a fun walk around the Rives du Loup Park accompanied by their parents. Your inquisitive young detectives hunt for clues at their pace, while enjoying information plaques that describe the surrounding plant-life and landscape! Games sheets aimed at 4-6 year olds and 7-12 year olds can be downloaded from the Tourism Office.
