Training your puppy

A puppy, unlike a kitten, has not the slightest notion of cleanliness without education. Bringing up a puppy requires patience, determination and affection.
You must first know that a puppy needs to relieve himself often and at least every 2 hours, including nights.
When you are outside, you must study the precursors to any relief so as to identify them when you are inside.
It is better to spend as much as possible outside for the puppy to find natural to relieve himself there. Each time the puppy wakes up, has eaten, has finished playing, he must be taken outside. You should take him to a given place and you should not leave the place until the puppy has not done what he should do.
Whenever your pet eliminates in the right places, you should congratulate him.
You must install your puppy in a very comfortable place to sleep and his bed should not normally get dirty. You can also install a litter.
At night, whenever he moves, or at least every 2 hours, you must go outside with him. It's betterto put your alarm clock and you can always take turns to go outside. It can be binding, but it's like with a baby : a puppy is not able to control himself.
At dawn, carry him out so that he will not relieve himself as soon as the door is crossed.
If all this seems too binding, before adopting a puppy, there is still time to change your mind and take a kitten instead.
