Tip of the Day : 27 May

Take good pictures of your children

Everyone wants the best possible pictures of his children but sometimes they show the worst will to help you get them.
For their cooperation, we must choose one day when they are in a good mood.
Then we must find the best possible light. The photos will be better outdoors and under an overcast but not dark day or in the shade under a sunny day. It is also preferable to avoid having to use the flash which gives an artificial appearance to the photos.
We should take as many photos as possible in different places and different positions in order to have more chances of successful and interesting pictures. We should keep only the best and delete all others : we must think we are going to show these pictures to friends and family and they will be delighted to see some photos of our children, however we should be careful not to give them indigestion at risk of seeing them run away the next time we want to show them pictures.
We should take photos of our child's face as well as photos of his full body. We should sit near our child to take photos, rather than using the zoom.
It is also better to interact with our child to make him express different emotions on his face : a good photograph can only be done if the child is smiling and calm. We should also put ourselves on eye level with our child before taking the picture.
The child should be dressed normally : it is better to avoid putting him clothes too smart or too typed if we do not want him to look ridiculous in the photos, unless we want to have control means for when he is a teenager.
We should remember to be very careful before publishing the pictures of our kids on our accounts on social networks : they have little protection and once on the Internet, we should know that it's forever.
